“Tsing Tao”, pronounced as “Ching Dow”, is one of the renowned cities in northern China. It has also been used as the brand name of the most popular Chinese-brewed beer. Once under the colonial occupation of Germany for more than 30 years, Tsing Tao has had strong German influence in beer making. Our restaurant is named after the famous city for a two-fold reason: we want to serve quality northern Chinese cuisine and delicatessen as well as to commemorate our grandfather who was a native from the city of Tsing Tao.
Our restaurant was established in 1988. We have neither branches nor franchises. It has been the ultimate mission of our two generations to serve the Greater Fresno and Clovis area with the highest quality Chinese food with reasonable prices and warm family style services. We provide a clean, serene and relaxed dining atmosphere. As a result, we were honored with the People’s Choice award in 2005. We are grateful to our numerous patrons for their ongoing support. Once again, it ascertains our mission and commitment. Our chefs of two generations with more than 10 years of experience will unquestionably prepare the finest Chinese food for you.
